Explore and take game drives in ecologically rich Lake Manyara National Park. Explore Serengeti one of the most celebrated ecosystem. Explore World Heritage listed Ngorongoro Crater and the Tarangire, a park of giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland.

Serengeti National Park

  • Early morning game drives then return to the lodge
  • Proceed Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the archeological site

  • Game viewing drive at the Serengeti National Park

Day 4

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • View game as you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Forest Lodge
Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

  • Leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour
  • Explore the crater on a 4-wheel drive vehicle
  • Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Roika Tented lodge
Day 6

Tarangire National Park - Arusha

  • Morning game drives at Tarangire National Park
  • Return to the lodge for lunch
  • Drive to Arusha to arrive by 1600hrs where the safari ends

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Pick up from your hotel at 0800 hrs and drive to Lake Manyara National Park to arrive in good time for lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Proceed for afternoon game drives.

Dinner and overnight Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drives then return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart the lodge and proceed Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the archeological site of the Leakey family.

Meals and overnight at Serena Katikati Tented Camp or similar.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp or similar.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

Breakfast at leisure then view game as you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Forest Lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

After early morning breakfast leave with picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4-wheel drive vehicle to explore the crater.

Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Roika Tented Lodge.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Arusha

Early breakfast then proceed for morning game drives at Tarangire National Park – return to the lodge for lunch – drive to Arusha to arrive by 1600hrs where the safari ends.
