3 Days Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru Safari

Overview

Lake Nakuru park is home to warthogs, water buck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You will spend four days in the Mara which is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya.

Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

  • Depart for Lake Naivasha
  • Have the afternoon at leisure or visit the Hells Gate National Park
  • Other activities may include bird watching, boat ride to crescent island or a visit to crater lake. (all at an extra charge)
  • Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge
Day 2

Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

  • Morning game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park
  • Afternoon bird watching and game viewing drive
  • Dinner and overnight will be at Flamingo Hill Camp
Day 3

Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

  • Morning game drive after breakfast then proceed to Nairobi
  • Arrive in Nairobi by noon and drop off at your hotel or at the airport

Itinerary (detailed) for this safari

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Depart for Lake Naivasha. Stop en route at view point for the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive before lunch. You will then have the afternoon at leisure or visit the Hells Gate National Park. Other activities may include bird watching, boat ride to crescent island or a visit to crater lake. All these will be at an extra charge.

Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

After an early breakfast at your Hotel,You will proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at the Lake Nakuru National Park early morning for the morning game drive. Go out in search of ‘The Big Five’ among other animals. You will have lunch at your camp then proceed for an afternoon bird watching and game viewing drive. The Lake Nakuru National Park hosts hundreds of thousands of the flamingos and other bird species as well as being a sanctuary that hosts the black and white rhinos.

Dinner and overnight will be at Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park - Nairobi

You will have a morning game drive after breakfast then proceed to Nairobi. This Morning you will have an opportunity to check out the various bird species as well as other popular mammals en route from the park. Enjoy the beautiful sceneries en route Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi by noon. Drop off at your hotel or at the airport in time for you flight.
